The Shop at Old Austerlitz

It has been a while since I've posted, and it has been a very busy summer so far. One of the projects I have been working on is The Shop at Old Austerlitz for the Austerlitz Historical Society . The Society operates a beautiful property in Columbia County, New York and this is the first actual shop they have opened on the property. So I thought I'd give you a tour, and an example of what can be done with very little money, some good volunteers, and a bit of creativity.

Martin's London Flat

In the last post we took a look at Martin Brudnizki's designs for the new Annabel's Club in London, today we'll take a peak at his London flat (it's always fun to snoop). Martin was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1990 he moved to London where he studied Interior Architecture and Design at The American University. After gaining a bit of experience working for several London designers, he opened his own design studio in 2000. He found his niche in hotel, restaurant, and club design and has gained wide recognition for his work. His studio now has a team of about 70 people and in 2012 he opened a New York branch.
His London apartment, where he lives with his partner, is modest in size. He opened up the wall between the kitchen and sitting room to expand the sense of space, and one of the two bedrooms he converted into a dressing room.

In the course of working on various design projects, he has collaborated with a number of companies to produce custom made items. Several years back he established andobjects.com to market some of the items he has designed:
